Learning Lab Fellow for Ethics & Critical Engagement, Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning
Noelle Lopez is Learning Lab Fellow for Ethics & Critical Engagement at Harvard College's Derek Bok Center for Teaching & Learning. In this role, Noelle collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and administrators to support pedagogical effectiveness and innovation, especially in response to inequities in the classroom and in courses featuring ethical or community engagement. Previously, Noelle taught philosophy at Boston College and was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard. A Rhodes Scholar who completed a doctoral dissertation on Plato's philosophy of love at the University of Oxford, Noelle's research and writing now focuses on personal identities, relationships, and violence and healing in pedagogy.
