Dear Members of the Harvard Community,
Please save the date for the inaugural summit on gender equity, Harvard Hears You: The 2019 Summit for Gender Equity, taking place on April 2, 2019. The daytime event will take place at the Richard A. and Susan F. Smith Campus Center and the evening event will take place at Memorial Church.
The daytime portion of the event will bring together high-profile guests, faculty, staff, and students to present in a variety of formats including TED-style talks, on-stage interviews, and panel presentations. The events will encourage candid discussions about key issues in the current climate including social movements, due process, and intersectional approaches to equity.
In the evening, there will be a panel discussion at Memorial Church addressing gender equity and gender stereotyping beyond Harvard, specifically, in the realm of pop culture, advertising, and consumerism. The names of the panelists for the evening event are not being released yet, but it will be a panel you won’t want to miss!
